Inspired by the form of hands in prayer, this hospice chapel is defined by 40-foot arched glulam columns made of Southern Yellow Pine with premium grade finish. The columns provide structural support for 2” x 6” tongue-and-groove decking and a large expanse of glass.
Deaconess Hospice House, Evansville, IN
This Texas church features Southern Yellow Pine Gothic arch trusses peaking at 77 feet, with 4’ x 6’ tongue-and-groove decking.
St. Philip The Apostle Catholic Church, Flower Mound, TX
This unique, towering church was built with 115-foot radiused glulam columns made of Douglas fir. The columns support horizontal glulam louvers, a glass roof, and an exterior glass curtain wall encasing the circular building. The design also includes 117-foot straight columns in a concrete foundation with seismic features.
