We are looking for a conscientious Operations Support Specialist who will provide support to Operations by tracking and coordinating many aspects of orders, logistics, reports and schedules. This position is very dynamic, you’ll work with internal and external customers to help us stay on track!

LOCATION & SCHEDULE
Albert Lea, MN
Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm with some flexibility

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Support our writeups, continuous improvement, and Bills of Lading
- Coordination of delivery, stain, steel production, order status, tags, and more
- Schedule shipping, freight, new orders, and others
- Data entry of order specs, approvals, hours, footage, and other documentation
- Creates and distributes a variety of reports and job folders
- Trains staff as needed
- Performs any other assignments
- Achieves accuracy and completeness on production order writeups/order specifications.
- Achieves timely and effective supportive services to customers and operations personnel.
- Properly processes material requests and orders.
SKILL LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required, 4-year degree or equivalent preferred
- 1 - 2 years of experience with logistics or manufacturing is required.
- Strong communication, attention to details, people and multi-tasking required.
- Team-player with the ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and ownership.
- Adept with major Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge and ability to read blueprints.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position will have to spend long hours sitting, and using office equipment and computers, which may cause muscle strain. This position regularly required to move about or work in varying areas of the facility. Occasional exposure to external and plant elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors, requires the use of safety equipment to include but is not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats to be worn when entering the plant. Regularly required to lift at least 25 lbs., occasionally required to lift 50 lbs.
